This privacy policy explains what personal data we process when you visit sinaicapital.de and when you contact us, why we do so and what rights you have.

2. Hosting and server log files

Our website is hosted by an external hosting provider within the European Union, with whom we have concluded a data processing agreement. When you visit the site, the server automatically records technical information in log files: IP address, date and time of the request, the page requested, the referring page, browser and operating system. We process this data to deliver the website securely and to detect misuse (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Log files are deleted after 14 days at the latest unless they are needed to investigate a security incident.

3. Contact and inquiry forms

When you use one of our forms (confidential investor inquiry, contact form, “Be a guest” form or the Spark College waiting list) or write to us by email, we process the details you provide, such as your name, organisation, email address, phone number and message, in order to answer your request (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR for pre-contractual inquiries, otherwise Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Submissions are sent to us by email and stored in our website administration. We delete them when they are no longer needed to handle your request, and after 12 months at the latest, unless statutory retention periods apply. Investor inquiries are treated confidentially and are only read by the managing director.

4. YouTube videos

Episodes of The Mo Hangout are embedded from YouTube (Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland). The video player only loads after you click on it. Until then, no data is sent to YouTube; the preview images are stored on our own server. When you click, the video is loaded in YouTube’s privacy-enhanced mode (youtube-nocookie.com) and YouTube receives your IP address and technical data. By clicking you consent to this (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). Google may transfer data to the United States; Google LLC is certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework. You can find more information in Google’s privacy policy.

5. Fonts and external resources

All fonts, scripts and images of this website are served from our own server. We do not load resources from Google Fonts or other third-party content delivery networks.

6. Cookies

This website does not set cookies for visitors and does not use analytics or advertising tools. Only when an administrator logs in to the website, technically necessary WordPress cookies are used.

7. Your rights

You have the right to access your personal data (Art. 15 GDPR), to rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and to object to processing based on legitimate interests (Art. 21). You can withdraw your consent at any time with effect for the future. To exercise your rights, write to hi@sinaicapital.de.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority, for example the Berlin Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information (Berliner Beauftragte für Datenschutz und Informationsfreiheit), Alt-Moabit 59–61, 10555 Berlin.
